They don't have sharp claws or sharp teeth and they don't run very fast. Sheep can't protect themselves very well. We need the Holy Spirit to guide us and remind us about God. ![]() Instead of reading our Bibles and praying, we wonder off to do other things. There are so many things going on around us that we sometimes forget about God and what he wants us to do. He died for us so we can be forgiven of our sins and live forever with him in heaven. Sheep need the shepherd to save them when they are in trouble. We need God to help us do the right things. We need God to help just like sheep need a shepherd to help them when they get in trouble. ![]() Sometimes they are so concerned about what they are eating that they tend to wander off and get lost and the shepherd has to go out and look for them. Sheep don't always pay attention to where they are going. The shepherd has to come and help them up. Sometimes sheep fall over and can't get up by themselves.
